Prayer Requests

 

 Ongoing Prayers:

  • for our family as we prepare to adopt a child
  • for our child we will adopt: that God will protect and safely hold the child where ever they are at
  • for the birth-parent(s): that they will have peace and that God will take care of their needs as well.
  • for patience in the time-line - that God will give us patience as we wait in his perfect timing!
  • for the country of South Africa and its people
  • for the finances required for this adoption to come into place as needed (and that we will trust!!)

Sunday, December 26, 2010:

  • Pray that we may trust in God's provision in the finances needed - we have applied for an adoption grant from an organization called "Orphan's Hope" - families are randomly selected - pray we may be a family selected for this grant!!
  • Pray for our little girl - that God may keep her safe and healthy in an environment of care and love as she waits to be placed.  Our hearts long to meet her!
Wednesday, December 15, 2010:
  • Praise God with us that we received our letter of approval to adopt from South Africa from the Ontario government - a big step in the process! Please pray that God can move mountains and speed our citizenship application sooner than April!!
Sunday, November 7, 2010:
  • Please pray with us that our citizenship application will fly through the government's hands and arrive in our hands much sooner than April!

  • Praise God for his continued provisions in the finances and practical details of this adoption.  Each time we have needed a specific amount of money and have prayed about it, God has provided that exact amount - truly amazing.  We are so thankful at this Thanksgiving time for our children and our child to be and for God's hand at work within this adoption.

  • Praise God for a great meeting with Mission of T.E.A.R.S. and pray that our homestudy would move efficiently through the government steps it needs to take.

  • Praise the Lord that our FBI clearance papers have arrived in the mail so all can proceed full speed ahead now!! Thank you for your prayers!

  • that our FBI report will come in quickly - we need it to complete our homestudy!!
  • that God will guide our practitioner's mind and hands as she completes our homestudy report - on Tuesday June 8, 2010 we received a draft copy of this home study report and it looks great!
